A powerful young sire with exceptional width and strong outward-flowing antler structure.
We picked Cerberus DG as a stand out 2 year old when he had only 6 inches of antlers up.
Very quiet and cruisy stag, he is always at the front of the mob.
We had our 2 widest ever 2 year old stags last year. One came in with a 30 inch span and Cerberus came a very close second at 29.4 inch span. I don’t know how wide he will be when he matures but if Archios DG is anything to go by he will probably be in the mid 40 inch span bracket.
This stag is one out of the box as he is not only super wide but his antlers also flow outwards, giving the impression of an even greater width.
Scoring 501 at 2 year with 13 to 18 inch T1’s, 2’s and 3’s and 23 x 30 points means Cerberus has had a big workload here at Deer Genetics this last rut. At 3 yr Cerberus produced a 30x34 points head scoring 664 with a 32 inch span, not bad considering the workload we put him under.
