Great looking stag with everything in the correct place

8050/18 is an outcross sire for us. He has a different top line to what we normally use, but his bottom line is rock solid. We have embryoed his mother 5384/15, his grandmother 3601/13, his great grand mother 0310/10 and his great, great grand mother 3013/03. That’s 4 generations of targeted embryo programmes!

You could say 8050/18’s journey started a long time ago. 8050/18 was used by us as a 2-year-old, we then didn’t use him again until he was a 4-year-old. He must have responded to the work as this roar we used him hard out as he has blown up as a 5-year-old. He probably needed an extra year to mature as he has a fair percentage of Eastern genetics in him which can take time to develop.

41- and 42-inch main beams on 8050/18 as a 5-year-old. Scoring 660 with 20-inch T1s and 2s. 24- and 27-inch T3, Crown points of 13 to 18 inch and a 37.4-inch span.
